Popular clergy and publisher of Our Daily Manna, has alleged that he is being blackmailed by Miss Iben and her associates with a cloned voice.
The General Overseer of The Manna Prayer Mountain, Bishop Chris Kwakpovwe, has cried out about activities of an ex-member of his church, Rita Iben.
The popular cleric and publisher of daily devotional book, Our Daily Manna, has alleged that he is being blackmailed by Miss Iben and her associates with a cloned voice.
According to recent statement from the media department of the church, Miss Iben and her associates have allegedly cloned the voice of Bishop Kwakpovwe and are using it to demand for money from gullible audience.
The concerned congregation and followers of the Bishop have since risen in his defense claiming Miss Rita seems hell bent on ruining the image of the clergy.
"As the Head of Media Production of ODM, of course Rita is almost always in possession of Bishop Chris' phones and sometimes even speaks to callers on his behalf, and during all these period she would have deceitfully been carrying out her plans to duplicate the man of Gods voice as what she is doing presently.
"All through Rita's years in service at the ODM ministry, she was always involved in scandalous rumours of extra marital affairs with men. Some almost ruining happy homes and leaving the wives in these marriages bitter. Bishop always counseled her during those times praying for her and believing God that she would change, unknown to the man of God that she is still targeting him being the general overseer of the ministry.
If the intent was not blackmail from Day one, how is it that the cloned voice is asking for money and directing people not to disclose the request to other people? And why are the cloned voices being sent to ODM partners, supporters and spiritual contacts if the intent is not to destroy the vision and ministry of the General Overseer?" the statement reads.
This is coming after Miss Rita Iben had accused the clergy of allegedly harassing her for a sexual relationship while she was a member of the church.
She had further claimed her resistance and refusal to give in to the amorous advances from the Bishop had led to the alleged victimization from the clergyman.
Bishop Kwakpovwe had however denied the claims made by Miss Iben.
