Kemi Omololu-Olunloyo: Journalist begs for money to run for Oyo governorship in 2019

Social media personality, Kemi Olunloyo, offers smart analysis concerning social-centric matters.

This controversial journalist is soliciting for money from her fans to fund her campaign as she is set to run for the governorship in her state.

Journalist and social media expert, Kemi Omololu-Olunloyo is really serious with her ambition to become the governor of Oyo State in the 2019 gubernatorial elections as she has set in motion her campaign strategies.

The daughter of former Governor of the state, Sir Victor Olunloyo who is popularly known as MadamKOO, revealed some time ago that she is ready to throw her hat into the race to succeed incumbent Governor, Abiola Ajumobi and to prove her seriousness, she has now launched an appeal for funds to enable her actualize her dreams.

The controversial journalist who spent over two months in prison custody following her altercation with a Port Harcourt, Rivers State-based man of God, had announced on her Instagram handle last month that she was ready to run for the position of governor in her state with the hashtag #MadamKOO2019, but many did not take her serious then.

Ms. Olunloyo who said she would base her campaign on women empowerment, free feeding of children and putting all the area boys through schools, had told her followers to get ready to be shocked with her next move and now, it seems she has moved up a step by soliciting for funds to run a successful campaign to unseat Ajimobi.


This was what she posted then:

Now, according to her, the campaign donation portal is ready and she has gone public to solicit for money from her fans and the general public to help her campaign, with the claim that she is the only one who can change Oyo State.

Taking to her Facebook page, Ms. Olunloyo posted:

"Donate to my campaign and contribute to a politician's campaign instead of a politician bribing you to vote for them.

Friends of #ELECTKOO2019, I will flag my first campaign fundraiser on October 1st, 2017. I am running as an independent candidate and not interested in APC OR PDP.
