The family and friends of this late entertainment entrepreneur have planned a series of events to mark his sad demise in a ghastly accident.

Just like yesterday, it is now one year since the founder of Koga Entertainment and entrepreneur, Chris Jeyibo lost his life in a ghastly motor accident.

Jeyibo who was much loved for his contribution to the entertainment industry in Nigeria, died in the tragic car crash in the early morning of Thursday, October 7, 2016, when his Range Rover SUV ran into a parked trailer on Lagos/Ibadan Expressway.

With just a week to the one-year anniversary of his death, his family, friends and staff members have lined up a series of activities to mark the passing of the friendly Jeyibo who was a friend of all.

Here is a statement signed by Robert Jeyibo on behalf of the family and staff of Koga Entertainment outlining events planned to honour the late Jeyibo:

'Family, friends, and staff of Koga Entertainment have planned a two-day event to commemorate the one-year memorial of the passing of its founder, Chris Jeyibo.

October 7 marks one year since Koga Entertainment lost its founder and CEO, Mr. Christopher Jeyibo. Though he might be gone, his memory endures and remains etched in our hearts.

His legacy and marks left in the entertainment industry and the lives of people from all works of life lives on.

To this end, the Jeyibo family and the entire staff of Koga Entertainment would like to invite friends, associates and the public to a two-day memorial event commencing on October 6, 2017, with the following activities:

Day 1: Friday, October 6, 2017

Visit to orphanages and widows - From 10 am

CPR course and training for First Responders at Accident Scene: This will be facilitated by renowned NGO, Trauma International, and will hold at our office, Koga Entertainment, 2, Bolaji Close, Oregun, Lagos at 2 pm prompt.

Day 2 Saturday, October 7, 2017

Morning mass at St. Leo's Catholic Church, Toyin Street, Ikeja at 8:30 am prompt

Prayers at graveside, Ikoyi Vaults - 11 am

Reception follows immediately after at Koga Studios, 2 Bolaji Close, Off Kudirat Abiola Way, Alausa-Ikeja, Lagos.

We look forward to seeing you at these events as we remember a true warrior.'

The late Jeyibo who was 45-years-old at the time of his death, was the Chairman of Koga Entertainment which has the following subsidiaries Koga Xtra TV, Koga Studios, KICL Clothing, Koga Lounge, Koga Production, Koga Publishing, Koga Foundation, Koga Hall and Koga Records.
