A Muslim Professor has broken the barrier of religion by bagging a Ph.D in Christian Religious Studies.

A Nigerian Law Professor, Rasheed Jimoh-Ijaodola, has broken the barrier after he bagged a doctorate degree in Christian Studies at the University of Ilorin, Kwara State, even though he is a Muslim.

Prof. Jimoh-Ijaodola who is the Dean at Oba Erediauwa College of Law of Igbinedion University, Okada, Edo State, attained the great feat which has delighted many Nigerians after he decided to explore the Christian world despite reservations from many of his friends and family members.

This was made known in a statement signed by Obajide Ilugbo, Head, Public & External Relations Unit, Office of the Vice Chancellor of Igbinedion University, made this known in Benin.

Ilugbo said Prof. Jimoh-Ijaodola’s thesis examined Biblical prophesies and other prophesies including the prophecies of Nostradamus.

The PRO added that the professor's research focused on the end time and the role of humans in the fulfillment of those prophesies.

“In the thesis, Prof. Jimoh-Ijaodola noted that the end is now and that humans should be careful so that the end will not come upon us as the Biblical thief that came unexpectedly.

He pleaded that the world should embrace peace and live in harmony for the sake of the earth and humanity.

Nations should be careful of war and proliferation of weapon of mass destruction. The end time scenario is a picture of a man eating man and that the problem will most likely start on the claim on ownership of Jerusalem,” the statement pointed out.
